March 4th, 2016: Minneapolis, Minnesota >> Atlanta, Georgia >> San Juan, Puerto Rico

Riding at 3:30, Mom, Grad and landed in Atlanta, Georgia by 8:30. Dad walked us into the Minneapolis airport, but alas, he won't be joining us in Puerto Rico until Saturday. 

Standby is always a game, and an adventure, but we arrive at stop #1 without a hitch. We even all sat next to each other. By 9am, we'd all been awake for 6 hours, and decided it was time for a slice of pizza while we waited to hear the verdict on the Puerto Rico flight. By 2:30 Puerto Rico time, we'd landed. All in all an uneventful standby experience, other than some major tribulation on the last flight. But well worth it. The 3 of us spent the rest of the day reading, and laying on the beach. It's a bit windy, but still a balmy 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
